Empowering Girls
Donate A Pad to keep girls in school.
We believe if you educate a girl you educate a Village/ comunity
About
Did you know 2.5 Million girls all over Kenya require sanitary towels? Did you know 1.5 Million of these girls cannot afford sanitary towels and 65% of them miss school? The government only supports 568,925 girls from 7,141 schools in 142 districts as per the ministry of education in Kenya. Donate A Pad is working towards reducing this gap and ensure girls get sanitary towels.
Donate A Pad (Christine Muthengi Foundation) was started in December 2012 with the aim of providing sanitary towels to young girls in primary schools in Kitui County in Kenya to keep them in class and hence help them focus on their education. We provide sanitary towels to girls from class 6 to 8. Our motto is; if you educate a girl you educate the whole village/community.
